November saw the 10 year anniversary of Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign – the charity’s initiative to show support of LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, fitness and physical activity. We teamed up with West Ham to mark this occasion by launching a pop-up Hammer’s Pride Bar.

Joined by familiar, supportive faces such as Matt Jarvis, James Collins, Anton Ferdinand and (to our secretary’s delight) Kevin Nolan the pop-up bar was used for a pub quiz, a pre-game social spot and a place for Sky to film Danny Dyer posed in front of the neon hammers. Most importantly it allowed us to gather together to reflect on and be proud of how far we’ve come as a group and refocus our commitment to keep up the fight for genuine inclusivity in football and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and welcome to our new members – your support is what keeps up going.
