Message from Co-Chair Patrick and Foundation Lead
Pride of Irons were proud to take part in the event. Showcasing their brand new building, the Foundation opened its doors to the community, supporting awareness, inclusion, intersectionality and accessibility for all, with walking football, wheelchair mobility and more activities designed for all abilities and interests. Pride Of Irons disability officer Megan Callen featured on a panel discussion specifically related to the issues of intersectionality and inclusion in football, and VIP guest Matt Jarvis – an ambassador to the Disability Supporters Association and long time supporter of POI, shared his insights as well as fun anecdotes from his career. Well done West Ham Foundation!
