Message from Co-Chair Patrick and Foundation Lead Pride of Irons were proud to take part in the event. Showcasing their brand new building, the Foundation opened its doors to the community, supporting awareness, inclusion, intersectionality and accessibility for all, with walking football, wheelchair mobility and more activities designed for all abilities and interests. Our Disability Officer, Megan and our Chair, Jo sat down with West Ham United’s Foundation Health Manager Hervé. Hervé said “This discussion with both Jo and Mega really highlighted the importance of continuous efforts and collaboration in creating inclusive and accessible environments in football, ensuring that all fans can enjoy the sport without barriers.” Pride of Irons will continue to collaborate with the foundation. Megan designs tailor made care plans for adults and children with additional needs and disabilities, so with her experience and expertise, is looking forward to working closely with the foundation.
